Tough call, it depends on what you want.
The Ducati is closer to a sport bike in configuration and weight, without the cramped ergonomics.
The V-Max is simply a beast... puts the 'POWAHHH' in power cruiser, but also heavier on the cruiser part, too.
Personally, I would probably go with a Moto Guzzi Griso 8V, though, just for the style, and air-cooled simplicity. Not as sophisticated as the Ducati, and not as beastly as the V-Max, though.

Ducati, just cause it's more like my R6 than the VMax.

After riding a Ducati, I'm not convinced it's a go-to bike company if a Harley V-Rod has more low-end torque for V-Twin configurations.
